Botulinum Toxin
Dysport, a botulinum toxin, is a protein refined using advanced purification processes. It effectively blocks nerve signal transmission, allowing muscles to temporarily rest and become uncontrolled by nerves. The product has cosmetic wrinkle-reducing effects; when applied to the face, it relaxes facial muscles and reduces wrinkles caused by excessive muscle contraction, such as frown lines. This effect is recognized by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Botulinum toxin is also clinically used for facial slimming, calf slimming, facial lifting, and antiperspirant purposes, with ideal results.
